Stress Quiz
When you can measure the impact of stress in your life it’s easy to see where change is possible.
You deserve to be your best!
You know I write and speak about stress often. That’s because it’s at epidemic proportions. Many of us are dealing with long-term chronic stress. We’ve been living this way for so long, being stress-free isn’t recognizable anymore. It’s like being on a high-speed wheel with no way to get off.
That’s a shame because the physical, emotional and financial impacts are real. Your body is the first-alert system. When stress lingers or moves in for good you will begin to pay the price physically.
Headaches, muscle tension, high blood pressure and heart problems have been directly related to long-term stress. Often we put a band-aid on, treating the symptoms with a pill while the cause stays with us.
We suffer emotionally as well. Relationships become strained and often we begin avoiding people and events we use to enjoy because the stress has us feeling overwhelmed, depressed or obsessively worrying.
Many see a strain financially which adds to even more things to worry about. The cost of doctor prescribed medications, or self-medication with alcohol, tobacco or other stimulants/depressants take a toll. To avoid dealing with the pain, some people turn to over-eating, online gambling, shopping or other activities to numb the pain.
Stress is killing us. The good news is that it doesn’t have to. There are answers and help and real solutions available for you.
Take the first step today, and be on your way to a healthier, happier you!
