Self-Care using Conscious Living Strategies is focused on constructing your life so that it commands positive, helpful and meaningful occurrences into existence in your life. It helps you to see and respond differently to life’s happenings. If you aren’t thoughtful or mindful of where your thoughts are taking you, your life will have a more chaotic or out of control appearance.

Thoughts will manifest or attract those things into your life that you, at the heart level, truly do not want. You build your “lifestyle” whether you consciously do it or not. Physical manifestations don’t understand the meaning of good and bad. They just know you want them in your life, period.

Before anything happens in life it is first a thought – good, bad or indifferent – that thought gains momentum through your feelings, your emotions, all the way through to your behaviors and habits, which become your character and destiny. These will also connect with your words adding power to them.

All this contributes to Stress, Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, or the LACK of that’s in your life. The feelings and emotions from these thoughts cause the power of the stress we feel. When we’re stressed we don’t stop to think how we are going to handle situations or others. We just respond according to our feelings from the emotions that come up in that moment.

For example: The actions and words you speak to others mirror the words you use in your own “self” talk. When you use negative self-talk, that is using words like, I can’t, I don’t have, I’m tired, or I don’t have help, I’m insignificant, nobody cares, etc. you are setting up the vibration for sabotage in not only one particular situation but for life-long disappointments. That goes for what you eat, what you drink, if you exercise, how you approach challenges — actually, all of life’s happenings personal or societal.

So conscious living is not just a good idea; it’s what a healthy, peace-filled and balanced life is made of whether you belief it or not. The question is do you want to have some control over your life and its circumstances or offer them up to chance? It’s time for you to say YES, to Self-Care!
