There are many aspects to gaining and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It is important to do everything you can to improve your understanding of things that will benefit your life and reveal what to do to take better care of physical condition. Proper breathing is probably one of the most important things you can do for your health.

We all experience stress during our lives, some good, some bad. The bad stress is what causes our body to breakdown becoming depleted of valuable energy and system immunity. Simple breathing techniques can give us tremendous relief during the course the day. As you are preparing to breathe for relaxation, it is imperative to think of what makes you peaceful and serene, such as the sun rising or the stillness of a calm lake, not allowing negative thoughts to surface. As you breathe, make sure to take deep breaths, exhaling gently and fully. I recommend that you inhale only through the nose for eight counts, hold the breath for two and finally exhale out of your mouth for eight counts. Repeat the cycle three times. Do this at the first sign of stress. This will relax the mind and body to make your life more stress-free, creating the poise needed to complete your tasks.
